Chris Kelly, an experienced fitness journalist and personal trainer, owns and operates Peak Fitness. His fitness experience dates back to 2002, and he holds fitness certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Chris, who is a Lakeland, Florida native, also is certified in Sports Nutrition with the International Society of Sports Nutrition and as a Holistic Health Counselor through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. He holds a bachelor's degree in communications from St. Johns University in Queens, New York, and a master's degree in journalism with a specialization in health and science from Columbia University in New York City. An experienced health writer, Chris has written extensively on fitness, healthcare, and nutrition. His writing has appeared in numerous publications including Exercise for Men, Prevention, Health, and the Boston Globe.
Chris offers training on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 6 a.m.-1 p.m. and 5:30-8 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 a.m.- noon and 5:30-8 p.m.

Doug has a master's degree in physical education and he is certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and as a Personal Trainer. He also is a certified Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting and is in the process of becoming a Level III Certified Cycling Coach through USA Cycling. He has been a fitness director for YMCAs in Lakeland, Honolulu and Birmingham, as well as director of the U.S. Coast Guard Exercise Facility in Washington, D.C.
